oh whatever. i had an english professor who taught my chaucer class -- which, by the way, if you can do anything about it, avoid having to take a chaucer class. i had to take it because i waited until the very last opportunity to fill that section and i SO regret my procrastination -- and he was a pothead who had difficulties keeping track of his own thoughts, let alone class discussion. i would sit in his class and doodle; it was so very high school.

and he actually said something in class one day about mary dying a virgin.

and my head popped up and i was like, "mary didn't die a virgin. jesus had SIBLINGS. she was just a virgin when she was pregnant with him."

and he was like, "really?"

and i was like, "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?"

but that really has less to do with my feelings about him than it does about people having RETARDED misconceptions about the bible.
